Roofs: They're Definitely at the Top!

You can say a lot of things about roofs, and most of them might be true. But one thing that nobody can argue with is that roofs are tops. This statement can be taken in several ways. A roof does for the top of your home. It can also act like a "top" or lid for your home, keeping the rain out. Then, there's the third meaning, which is the one we happen to like the most: roofs are the best. (People say things are "tops" when they really like them.) Since we like roofs so much, we've decided to write about them, and you've discovered the blog where we do that.

Why You Should Adopt Foam Roofing System

Brian Riley

It is possible to spend your entire hard-earned cash and more on house improvements. People are adopting everything that's trending nowadays to keep their homes looking beautiful. For instance, high-end appliances, heated floors, and foreign furnishings are all must-haves nowadays. But what if you're overlooking one of your home's most crucial features?

Surprisingly, many homeowners invest time and resources in every aspect of their property. The portion they don't see, however, is their roof. A faulty or old roof puts your property at risk of a variety of problems. Besides, it makes it look old. Thus, if you decide to make changes, consider a foam roofing system. Again, the industry has professionals who offer foam roofing system installation services to building owners.

Foam roofing is among the best in the roofing industry for various reasons;

Lower Energy Bills

Spray foam enhances smaller HVAC systems, which results in lower energy usage and significant cost savings. Unlike other insulating materials such as cellulose and fiberglass, polyurethane spray foam doesn't sag.  It can last as long as the building does. It has exceptional thermal insulation capabilities and occupies little space. Thus, spray foam outperforms other roofing materials. After installation, it doesn't require replacement or upgrading.

Spray foam can last up to half a century. Except for occasional re-coating, spray foam doesn't any maintenance like other roofs. To top it all, it can stay in good working condition for half a century.  This roof insulates surfaces, corners, roofs, and walls smoothly with varying contours.  Besides its excellent thermal insulation capabilities, it also resists moisture and vapor.

Renewable Roofing System

Having a renewable roof offers you a benefit over your opponents who do not have a renewable roof. When the initial warranty expires, you only need to power-wash it, apply extra granules and coating, and voila! There's nothing much more to think about at all. A "re-coat" is the term for the process of renewing a spray foam roof.

When other people's roofing systems' warranties expire, they remove and replace it with a new system. It's more expensive than a spray foam re-coat. This process contributes to unnecessary landfills, which pollute the environment. If you have a renewable roof, you won't have to dismantle the entire roof to install a new system after the guarantee period is up (in this case, every ten years). Renewing a spray foam roof involves power washing, re-coating with the initial 20 mils of coating, and replacing its granules. Just that! You don't touch the spray foam. You don't take anything away.
