Pooling Water
Most commercial buildings have flat roofs. As such, you might have to check for pooling water during the rainy season. You might encounter this problem, especially if the drainage is blocked. Besides, some flat roofs don't have enough pitch to facilitate proper drainage. In that case, you need a commercial roofing service to fix the drainage issue.
Leaks
Leaks can affect both residential and commercial roofs. As such, you must inspect your roof often to see if it has cracks, holes, or weak spots that might allow water to seep through. Fixing weak areas should be your top priority. Otherwise, the problem might affect the entire roof, and you might need to replace it. Shrinkage

Damaged Flashing
Damaged flashing is yet another problem that might affect your commercial roof. And remember that flashing helps to keep water from entering the seams and joints. As such, all the additions on your roof, including chimneys, air conditioners, and pipes, have flashing. And if the flashing gets damaged, water will find its way through the seams.
